in-service-2.jpgI believe we’re all here to be of service to others.  Any business we’re in, every job we do is in service to others - no matter who you are or what you do.  How well you do that service will determine how happy and fulfilling your life will be. 

You may ask yourself, how would this apply to my job, my business, or my role in the workforce?  When you give of yourself and affect the happiness of others, that reflects back to you.  Some call this the law of attraction - what you put out comes back to you.  Imagine doing your work with a sense of  purpose and passion, knowing that you’re making a difference in someone’s life.  It may seem small to you, but it can be life-changing for the receiver.

thank-you.jpgAll the good that comes into our lives is based on love (the positive) and all the bad that comes into our life is based on fear (the negative).  With that knowledge, how can we use it to attract everything we desire?  First, we must have at least a basic understanding of how the Universe works…

A Primer on the Law of Attraction
Quantum Physics has proven that our thoughts and feelings “vibrate” at a specific frequency.  Positive thoughts have a much higher and faster vibration, and negative thoughts a much lower vibration.  We attract more of what we’re thinking and feeling into our lives - whether positive or negative, whether conscious or unconscious.  This is a Universal Law.  Consciously putting ourselves into that higher vibration is the key to getting what we want in life.

Gratitude and Giving are 2 of the most powerful ways we can attract things into our lives.  This week of Giving Thanks, we’ve shared our views on the importance of making giving and gratitude a part of our lives.

With Thanksgiving come and gone, let’s all remember to be of giving hearts - give freely and without intention of return - give heartfelt thanks for the gifts in our lives and the gifts we wish to receive.

Continued practice WILL bring you more beautiful things into your life to appreciate and share.

As I was preparing for Thanksgiving week, it occurred to me that this holiday wraps 2 very powerful ways to attract everything we want into our lives - Thanks and Giving.

Why Gratitude?
It’s a widely accepted fact that gratitude plays an very important role in or lives.  Gratitude is the recognition and acknowledgement of all that is good in your life.  This can be material things (your house, car, etc.), or non-material things (love, happiness, etc.).    The mere act of being and feeling grateful for something in your life puts you into a powerful vibration of love - the most powerful in the Universe.  Given that the Law of Attraction brings you more of what you’re vibrating, being grateful is essential to your happiness, health and wealth.

Why Giving?
Another globally recognized fact is that you get back what you give.  Want more money - give money.  Want more love - give love.  Consider the validity of the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  Giving is another vibration of love.  Sending that powerful vibration of love outward is what attracts more of the same back to you.

This is a week of Giving Thanks.  Remember to acknowledge and appreciate all that you love and have in your life. 


Are You Reliving Your Past?

reliving-the-past.jpgDo you live in the past?  Do the mistakes of yesterday haunt your tomorrow?  We have all made mistakes, but we don’t have to relive them.  Leave them in the past where they belong.

We are very often our own worst enemy, always beating ourselves up.  The key is to forgive yourself for the mistakes that you have made.  They are not who you are, they are simply something that you did.  If you keep reliving them in your mind, the law of attraction will think you want to relive them in your reality.

You have to let them go and stop focusing on them, free yourself to be the person that you want to become.  Your past mistakes should be viewed as merely a learning experience, a way of guiding you to steer clear of repeating them.  Just because you have made the mistake in the past, it doesn’t mean that you are the person that always makes that mistake. 

Even if it is a mistake that you have made repeatedly in the past, it is time to break the cycle.  Decide who you want to be today and focus on becoming that person.  Leave the past where it belongs, in the past.

In these difficult economic times, you may be worrying about what will happen.  Will you lose your job - How will you make the mortgage payments - Do you have enough money to pay your bills - Will I ever get out of this hole I dug?

I think the news media’s coverage of the recession perpetuates the recession.  People panic and stop spending.  They focus on the recession so it starts to create a collective energy pattern of fear and doubt - an endless cycle. 

Putting your focus on the negative will actually bring about more of the same - the Law of Attraction.

Resist the urge to bury your head in the sand and hope it will all go away.  You’re given these lessons for a reason.  If you don’t deal with them, they will keep coming back to you - in different forms and with greater intensity until you deal with it - until you learn the lesson.

There is no security except for the security you have within.

Here’s what I do and what we encourage our clients to focus on:  choose to focus on the belief that you will always be taken care of.  Focus on what you can control instead of what you can’t.  Choose to focus on problem-solving and how to help yourself.  You are capable of dealing with whatever comes your way.  Dealing with it is the key - staying in ‘action’ mode is the key. 

You can do this!  Keep your eye on what you want for your life, deal with issues that arise, and never, never, never, never give up.  You can overcome all adversity in your life.


The Action in Law of Attraction

82752265.jpgAnyone who told you that getting things in life comes from sitting around and visualizing it, is selling you a load of cow manure.  It takes action.  That’s where you come in.  You have this big dream.  You believe you’ll see it come true.  Now you need to do something that will take you closer to the fulfillment of your dream.  This doesn’t mean you have to know everything about getting what you want, just take some action.  One small step leads to another and another. 

Something magical happens when you take action.  People, places and situations begin to appear that actually help you get what you want.  That’s the law of attraction.  As you take responsibility for your dreams, the Universe moves people and situations in place to help you achieve them faster.  Your role is to be open to the possibilities and be aware and ready to act when your intuition speaks.

Life isn’t meant to be hard.  Know what you want, get clear on why you want it, believe it’s possible and take action.  That’s the way to win with the Law of Attraction.


Tug-of-War

ab12717.jpgYou’re playing a tug of war game that you just can’t win.  You tell the Universe what you want and initially you’re excited and believe you’ll get it.  That starts the process of bringing you what you want.  The next day, you’re not so confident so the Universe says, “Wait, hold that order.”  The next day, you don’t believe you’ll get what you want and actually start thinking of the opposite of what you want!  Guess what the Universe says?  “We have a change order.”

How do you win this tug of war game with the Law of Attraction?   Believe!

Never underestimate the power of belief.  Remember the childhood rhyme “Find a penny, pick it up, and all day long, you’ll have good luck.”  Did you find that you did have good luck all day?  That’s the power of belief.  When you set your intention on something, believe that you will get it.  Believe with all your heart and soul, never waver, maintain your faith in yourself and the Universe to deliver to you what you want.  Belief is the vehicle that brings you everything you dream about.


What, Me Worry?

 1. You’ve worried for nothing because your worst worry didn’t come true
 2. You’ve worried so much that your worst worry did come true

In either scenario, you’ve wasted so much precious time and happiness on worrying.  You’ve made yourself miserable and undoubtedly many people around you.

Worrying is a learned behavior - a habitual way of thinking and being.  If you understand the Law of Attraction, consider that your constant worrying may actually bring about that which you’re worrying about.  If that doesn’t stop you in your tracks, then what I’m about to share won’t help you.

We have remarkable ‘thinking’ power.  In fact, we’re discovering just how much our thoughts create our reality. When you find yourself worrying, immediately change that worry to thoughts of the best possible outcome.  Distract your brain by submerging yourself in positive books, audios, and programs or listen to music that makes you feel good.  You can only hold one thought at a time - choose an empowering one over one that doesn’t make you feel good.

Like learning to ride a bike, this may seem awkward at first.  Very soon though it will become a habitual way of thinking that helps you break free of the worry cycle and reclaim your life.
