Adversity comes in many forms - conflict at work, an unhappy relationship with your significant other, money issues (or lack of) to name a few.  But what about the adversity within us - the relationship we have with ourselves.

 

200188988-001.jpgWe have about 70,000 thoughts per day.  Many of those thoughts are conversations that we have with ourselves.  The amazing thing is that many of those conversations are negative - that was stupid, why did I say that, I’m fat,  why do I always do that, they don’t like me - you get the picture.

 

We beat ourselves up over the smallest perceived infraction and wonder why our lives aren’t working. 

 

Successful people have learned to overcome the adversity in their lives, and that includes the inner conflict we’ve all experienced.  There’s a small but profound difference between the successful and unsuccessful….
