Are You Reliving Your Past?

Do you live in the past? Do the mistakes of yesterday haunt your tomorrow? We have all made mistakes, but we don’t have to relive them. Leave them in the past where they belong.
We are very often our own worst enemy, always beating ourselves up. The key is to forgive yourself for the mistakes that you have made. They are not who you are, they are simply something that you did. If you keep reliving them in your mind, the law of attraction will think you want to relive them in your reality.
You have to let them go and stop focusing on them, free yourself to be the person that you want to become. Your past mistakes should be viewed as merely a learning experience, a way of guiding you to steer clear of repeating them. Just because you have made the mistake in the past, it doesn’t mean that you are the person that always makes that mistake.
Even if it is a mistake that you have made repeatedly in the past, it is time to break the cycle. Decide who you want to be today and focus on becoming that person. Leave the past where it belongs, in the past.

Tug-of-War

You’re playing a tug of war game that you just can’t win. You tell the Universe what you want and initially you’re excited and believe you’ll get it. That starts the process of bringing you what you want. The next day, you’re not so confident so the Universe says, “Wait, hold that order.” The next day, you don’t believe you’ll get what you want and actually start thinking of the opposite of what you want! Guess what the Universe says? “We have a change order.”
How do you win this tug of war game with the Law of Attraction? Believe!
Never underestimate the power of belief. Remember the childhood rhyme “Find a penny, pick it up, and all day long, you’ll have good luck.” Did you find that you did have good luck all day? That’s the power of belief. When you set your intention on something, believe that you will get it. Believe with all your heart and soul, never waver, maintain your faith in yourself and the Universe to deliver to you what you want. Belief is the vehicle that brings you everything you dream about.
Give Yourself a Pat on the Back

Do you really give yourself the credit you deserve? You have probably had some major success in your life, did you give each success the celebration that it was due?
We tend to give so much more attention and emotion to our failures than to our much deserved successes. Think back to when you were a child. If you were playing quietly with your siblings, your parents probably just let you be, but if a fight broke out you got in big trouble. The A’s on your report card may have gotten you a simple pat on the back, but the D’s meant you were scared to go home.
Most of us have brought this way of being into our adult life. Our accomplishments get very little recognition, yet our failures haunt us as we replay them again and again in our minds. If you spend too much time beating yourself up for the mistakes that you have made, you are putting it out to the universe that you are a failure. The law of attraction will then respond and bring you more dissapointment and failure.
It is imperative to your self esteem that you acknowledge your wins. You should give just as much, if not more, energy and emotion to your successes than you do to your failures. Make a list of your wins, the big and the small, you can refer to this list whenever you need a self esteem boost. You will soon find that you are vibrating with an energy of success and the law of attraction will bring you more of the same.
Deliberate Creation

Everything you experience in your life, you have created. Your thoughts and feelings are mirrored back to you and manifest into your current life and circumstances. Some things you’ve created unconsciously and some consciously, but you’ve created them. When you understand that you are the creator of your life, you can then take responsibility for it and stop blaming yourself or anyone else for your results. This will set you free and light the path to deliberate creation - the Law of Attraction.
So how can you then turn your life into the one that you desire? Stop thinking the negative thoughts that keep you stuck. Here’s a simple solution: plant good thoughts! The more good thoughts you plant, the more negative ones get wiped out. It gets easier and easier as you focus on what you want, rather than all the scenarios you can think of that you don’t want.

You Get What You Expect

The Law of Attraction is so powerful that it can deliver literally everything we want in life. It’s true! If you can think it and believe it, you can absolutely achieve it. So why don’t more people realize their dreams? Simple - it’s expectation.
You see, many of us think about what we want, dream about what we want, but don’t actually believe it’s possible. We expect that we’ll fail. We expect to be disappointed yet again. So guess what? We’re right.
Expectation fuels motivation, excitement and success. Would you work towards something if you believe you won’t get it? What a colossal waste of time! However, if you knew you’d be successful, wouldn’t you get excited and be motivated to work towards your goals? Absolutely!
You have the choice and the power to control your thoughts. Having that choice, doesn’t it make better sense to choose to believe in possibilities? Doesn’t it make better sense to tell yourself and believe that you can have anything you want? Doesn’t it make sense to have faith and believe in yourself and this great Universe. Given that you can hold only one thought at a time and negative thoughts are just taking up valuable space in your mind, wouldn’t you choose to affirm what you want and believe it’s possible?
We now know that with consistent affirmations and visualizations, combined with the proper training, repetition and coaching, that anyone can achieve their goals and live their dreams.

De-Clutter Your Life - Make Room For the New

I’ve been thinking lately that we should really de-clutter our whole house as we’re in the process of selling it. We’ve actually been in that process for 10 months now. I know, I know - the market is slow. I don’t buy into that really because houses are selling every day and every day people are finding the house of their dreams. That’s what we’re offering - a home of their dreams. So what’s the hold up? My answer came across my desk today in the form of “Principle of Emptiness’ by Joseph Newton….
Think…
Have you got the habit of hoarding useless objects, thinking that one day, who knows when, you may need them?
Have you got the habit of accumulating money, and not spending it because you think that in the future you may be of want of it?
Have you got the habit of storing clothes, shoes, furniture, utensils and other home supplies that you haven’t used already for some time?
And inside yourself…? Have you got the habit to keep reproaches, resentment, sadness, fears and more?
Don’t do it! You are going against your prosperity!
It is necessary to make room, to leave an empty space in order to allow new things to arrive to your life.
It is necessary that you get rid of all the useless things that are in you and in your life, in order for prosperity to arrive.
The force of this emptiness is one that will absorb and attract all that you wish.
As long as you are, materially or emotionally, holding old and useless feelings, you won’t have room for new opportunities.
Good must circulate … Clean your drawers, your wardrobes, the workshop, the garage …
Give away what you don’t use any longer …
The attitude of keeping a heap of useless stuff ties your life down.
It’s not the objects you keep that stagnate your life ….
But rather the attitude of keeping …
When we keep in store, we consider the possibility of wanting, of penury …
We believe that tomorrow it may lack, and that we won’t be able to fulfill those necessities …
With that idea, you are sending two messages to your brain and to your life:
That you don’t trust tomorrow…
And you think the new and better are not for you
For this reason you cheer yourself up by storing old and useless stuff.
Get rid of what’s lost it’s color and brightness …
Let the new enter your home … and yourself.

Porcupine Quills

I didn’t expect to wake up this morning and have an obstacle in my path, but I did. I didn’t expect to be taken out of the great feeling I’ve been having, into one of fear, concern and anxiousness, but I did. What I did expect was to get up, go for a walk with my dogs and husband, and start my day the way I like to. After all, I had appointments to get to, tasks to be completed and a dinner to get ready ,so starting my day off right was important.
What did happen? Chloey and Max (our bullmastiffs) didn’t respond when I said the magic words, “ride” and “walk”. In fact, after several calls from my bedroom window, there wasn’t even movement in their doghouse. Just as I was about to go investigate their laziness, Chloey comes around the side of the house. My first thought was, how did you get there? (They’re usually in our lower field.) My second thought was, how did you get the dandelion fluff on your face. My third thought sent me into a panic of concern and fear - those are porcupine quills!!
Needless to say my whole vibration (mood) shifted. What started as a day of focused intent, fun and excitement quickly turned into one of fear, concern and WHY? I point this out because we all have distractions in our lives. We all have things happen that take us off course. It’s how we think and believe, react and respond that will affect the outcome. Not only of the moment, but the rest of the day.
I did react to the situation - Chloey and Max are no worse for wear because of it. Over the next couple hours, 3 things went wrong….then I realized that I was focusing on the negative feeling of the morning. I immediately shifted my awareness to one of gratefulness (that the dogs are well), appreciation (of the wonderful life I live, doing what I love) and love (for my friends and family).
This was a great reminder to me of how powerful the law of attraction is. I could have let this ruin my whole day, take me off course from my goals or stop me in my tracks. What I’ve learned is that we can choose what we think and feel. We can choose how we react. We can choose to refocus on what we want and not the things that we don’t want.
This wasn’t an overnight process, but it really is that simple. Replacing old limiting habits and thoughts with new empowering ones is a process. For some it’s easy, for other’s we make it harder than it has to be. What’s important is that we’re conscious of what we’re thinking and take action to change our thinking when it doesn’t serve us.
Many times we tend to allow the “things” that happen in our life be the excuse we have for not following our dreams. By focusing on my gratitude (the most powerful vibration in the Universe), I was able to return to my day with the usual excitement and love of life.
What Are You Choosing to Create?

We are here, living our lives, to create, not react. Everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex - we’re all creating. The truth is, we’re creating all the time. The big question is, are you doing it consciously, or unconsciously?
Conscious creation is where we want our focus to be. That means that we get clear on what we want (our goals), take focused action towards those goals, and stop thinking negative thoughts about why we can’t be, do or have what we want.
The alternative is to react to situations in our life. We are unconsciously creating these unwanted situations by the negative thoughts we have. By not focusing our attention on what we want, the law of attraction brings to us those negative things that we worry about. Minimize having to react to situations and start focusing on the positive things in your life. You know, the things you’re grateful for.
Knowing now that you call the shots, make the choice right now to create what you truly want in your life. Stop moping and take charge of your life! Make it happen! Everything you need is already inside of you. Paint your own picture.
The Law of Attraction at Work

Do you ever wonder why the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for you? I know in the past that I certainly have. Why do I get more bills when I want wealth? Why do I encounter unhappy and angry people all the time? Why do others get to travel to the exotic and exciting places I want to go.
It wasn’t until I understood that the Law of Attraction was working in my life (albeit in a negative way) that everything started to change for me. You see, it was what I was focusing on that got me more of what I was focusing on. Kind of a catch 22 scenario. I focused on more bills, so got more bills - car broke down unexpectedly, kids needed to borrow money, Christmas snuck up on us again. You know the story.
My life coach pointed out to me that as long as I focus on what I don’t want, I’ll always continue to get more of it. She suggested to put my focus on what I want. Very soon, coincidences weren’t coincidences - they were the Law of Attraction bringing those things that I wanted into my awareness. These opportunities changed everything. Let me give you a couple of examples:
I focused on financial abundance and within a week we received a $657.00 check in the mail from our mortgage company, refunding an overpayment of our prior year’s property taxes. We also unexpectedly received a $5.41 check from our cellular service company from a class action suit we knew nothing about. A small amount, but financial abundance nevertheless. We received a $300 credit on our credit card for purchase bonuses for that year.
I focused on rebuilding a healthy lifestyle. One of the things that I love to do is go for walks in the woods connected to our property. I won’t do this by myself and I didn’t have a partner everyday. The very next day, an old walking partner from over a decade ago approached me at a coffee shop. It seems she had just moved into the area we now live and would love to start walking together again! I also saw the very next day that our local gym is now offering step aerobics classes which I absolutely enjoy.
On list of 100 places to see, Italy was very near the top. On an upcoming conference that I already knew I was attending, the announcement was made that it would be held in Rome, Italy! Yes, we travelled to Rome and saw almost all the places that we wanted to see. Now I know we will return to Italy and spend some more time experiencing the places we didn’t manage to pack into that amazing vacation.
It’s just like when you’re thinking of buying a new car or truck. All of the sudden you see that car/truck on the road in exactly the color you want. It’s not that there are more of that car/truck on the road, you’re just now aware of them. Focusing on what you want brings the people, places and things you want into your awareness.
Make a commitment to yourself to start putting your focus and energy on those things you truly want!
